Co-Founder

Asif Hussain brings over 12 years of international experience in human–machine interaction, rehabilitation robotics, and translational research to Articares. He has studied and worked at leading institutions including Imperial College London (UK) and Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), where he developed deep expertise in designing technologies that bridge human movement, cognition, and robotic intelligence. Asif leads Articares with a strong focus on translating advanced research into clinically meaningful solutions that improve recovery outcomes and quality of life for individuals with neurological impairments. 

Domenico is the Director of the Robotics Research Centre (RCC) at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. He leads multidisciplinary research teams advancing the fields of robotics, human–robot interaction, and rehabilitation technology. 

As a co-founder of Articares, Domenico brings deep academic and applied robotics expertise, ensuring that the company’s solutions are grounded in rigorous science while addressing real-world clinical needs that enhance the quality of life for patients with neurological impairments.
